  • Williamsburg Field Trip Information

On March 28th, 29th and 30th, A. I. DuPont Middle School is continuing the long tradition by traveling to Colonial Williamsburg on a three-day overnight field trip. For over 40 years, this trip has been one of the highlights of the eighth grade’s educational activities. Students will be immersed in “the largest living history museum in the United States,” the restored 18th century capital of colonial Virginia. In addition, we will visit the site of the first English settlement in America and location of a recreated Powhatan Native American village at Jamestown before returning home in the early evening.

  • The A. I Middle School Student Ambassadors

At A. I. Middle School, there are two very gifted seventh-grade young ladies who are also twins - Yasmin and Jacklyn Perdroza-Ocasio. They have been with the Ambassadors since the Summer Program of 2016. They are quiet in voice, but speak loudly through their art. Their work is unique and easy to identify. They are now working, alongside Mr. Bullock, on a 5'x6' mural that will hang in the district office. It's entitled Attitude of Gratitude for Education.
