Academic World Quest

  • Academic WorldQuest is coming Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Trabant Center on the campus of University of Delaware ! Our top team in 2016 finished in 10th place out of 44 teams. Below are details about World Quest 2017:

    World Quest 2017 is a sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Wilmington and is a quiz style competition focusing on global issues. Here are some important details regarding the competition:

     

    What? World Quest 2017

    When? Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 9am

    Where? Trabant Hall, University of Delaware

    Who? High school students in teams of four (we can field as many teams as I’m able)

    Advisors: Jared Klose, David Lee

    Competition: Saturday, January 28*

     

    Regular meeting times will be 2:45 to 4:15

     

    *The winner of the January 28 competition will be invited to compete in the national competition.

     

    Boldface: an unrelated competition, but something you might want to do as well. 

     

    Students who would like to participate must attend a minimum of 4 of the weekly meetings including the final meeting (January 25). We will create the teams based on the number of eligible students. An overflow of one or two participants will be considered alternates. If there is an overflow of three, then we will create an additional team. The final teams will be set on the last practice meeting (January 25).
