Transition Care Information Provided for Parents
Transition Care at Psychology Night
First State School parents were given the opportunity to receive advice and resources on transitioning from the world of pediatric care to adult medical care from Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children’s Social Work Coordinator, Cory Nourie, MSS, MLSP on Wednesday, December 7 in the Gateway Conference Center. Ms. Nourie discussed steps toward making transition successful and resources that are available for families and students at the annual Psychology Night held each December at FSS. Topics for past events, run by the psychology team at FSS, have included sleep hygiene, support for families with children with chronic illnesses, and grief and loss.
